FORM: (SUBJECT) USING 'IT' TO INTRODUCE
El 'it' expletivo se usa como sujeto gramatical cuando el sujeto real de la oración aparece más adelante, especialmente con infinitivos y cláusulas subordinadas.

¿Qué es el ‘it’ expletivo?
El ‘it’ expletivo (también llamado ‘dummy it’) es un pronombre que se usa como sujeto gramatical cuando el verdadero sujeto de la oración aparece más adelante. No tiene significado propio, solo cumple una función estructural.
Estructura básica
It + be + adjetivo/sustantivo + infinitivo/cláusula
- It + is/was + adjetivo + to + infinitivo
- It + is/was + sustantivo + that + cláusula
Usos principales

Con infinitivos:
- It’s easy to make mistakes (Es fácil cometer errores)
- It was hard to understand (Era difícil de entender)

Con cláusulas que empiezan con ‘that’:
- It’s clear that she’s tired (Está claro que ella está cansada)
- It’s obvious that we need help (Es obvio que necesitamos ayuda)
Diferencias con el español
En español, NO necesitamos un sujeto explícito en estas construcciones:
